Best paddle boarding experience + Family-owned business is the way to go

Omg, I want to say renting our paddle boards was one of the best parts of our trip to the Algarve. Rentals came with waterproof bags (so nice for phones/camera/water/snacks)... And we are definitely going back for more someday. 😁

This was by far the best activity we did in Lagos and the most affordable. So convenient to get the boards at praia dona and it’s the best way to get out on the water. You can see everything on your own time and in your own way.Way more affordable than the other rentals on the beach and super friendly and helpful service. They even provide dry bags for your items!

Must do activity!

This is a must do! Super easy to get the boards onto the beach. They come pumped up and with a waterproof bag for towels and sunscreen and a waterproof bag for your cell phone. 2 hours is enough time to see it all if you don’t stop on the beach.

Better than the guided tours!

Great Deal! Less than half the price of the guided tours. If you are a first timer, like me, you will take a few lumps at first! But, you will quickly get a hang of it. Then, you are on your own to explore the beautiful coast. A word of caution; if you are a first timer and wearing sunglasses, take them off until you are up and paddling comfortably. I lost mine right away when I took my first spill! Didn't spoil the morning though! What a cool experience to see everything from the water. I would highly recommend renting from Valter and Paddle Fun.

Best paddle board services in Lagos

The boards and the equipment are perfect. The service provided was also outstanding. Valter, the owner, was amazingly helpful and kind.

Perfect paddle board rental offering

Exactly what we were looking for—ability to rent paddleboards right at the beach without booking a group tour. Valter made the process quick and easy. The gear was quality (I have a similar inflatable paddle board at home) and the scenery along the coast was phenomenal. Just be mindful of aggressive boat tour operators. They don't like the paddleboarders very much and can be a bit territorial, so be quick in and out when entering the grottoes and arches along the way.

Super good experience overall, I loved it! For the half of the prices from the tours (they charge between 45/50€) you can get the same experience or better from PadleFun for only 25€

Wir konnten das SUP am Praia da Dona Ana holen und 2 Stunden auf dem Meer herumpaddeln. Es hat alles reiblungslos funktioniert und wir bekamen zusätzlich 30 Minuten geschenkt! Es war wirklich sehr toll mit dem SUP die Küste zu erkunden und somit eines unserer Highlights in den Algarven. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Richtig guter Service und netter Kontakt 🙂 Treffpunkt und Uhrzeit einfach über WhatsApp abgesprochen und vor Ort bar bezahlt. Konnten somit früh morgens die Höhlen und leeren Buchten erkunden, bevor die ganzen Touren dort sind. Weiterzuempfehlen und gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns spontan entschieden ein SUP zu buchen und waren dann über 3h bis zur Dämmerung unterwegs. Wir hatten einen großartigen Tag und können nur empfehlen die Küste mit ihren Höhlen und kleinen Stränden zu erkunden! Trotz Verspätung wurde uns diese nicht extra in Rechnung gestellt. Toller und unkomplizierter Service und eine super Ausrüstung! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Muy buena experiencia

Fue un día muy bueno, las tablas están muy bien de precio y puedes disfrutar de lo mismo que en las visitas guiadas más barato y mucho mejor. El hombre que nos atendió muy amable y atento. Para repetir sin duda.

El trato y el servicio muy rápido y cómodo para hacer una ruta por las calas y cuevas desde la Playa de Doña Ana.

Experiencia maravillosa con “paddle fun”. Llegamos en nuestra furgoneta a la playa Dona Ana ,aparcamos dispuestos a buscar un sitio donde alquilar las tablas y en la entrada de la playa encontramos a Valter, le preguntamos y enseguida nos facilitó 2 tablas con sus mochilas impermeables y fundas para móviles por solo 25€ cada tabla por 2h para recorrer libremente la costa. Como hacía un día ventoso nos sugirió ir hasta ponta da piedade con las tablas y él iria a recogernos allí para trasladarnos otra vez a nuestro punto de partida ya que volver remando a playa Dona Ana nos costaría mucho esfuerzo por el viento en contra. Disfrutamos mucho la experiencia, las vistas son increíbles, las paradas en las calas maravillosas. Valter fue muy amable y servicial en todo momento. Recomendaría esta experiencia con Paddle Fun a todo el mundo.
